Trying to cover gray? Use very small sections when applying color. Make sections one eighth to one quarter inch deep. Sectioning this small will help color penetrate to the hair shaft. Gray hair is very resistant to color so make sure you have enough cover on the hair from root to end. All chemical procedures should be done by a license cosmetologist.
