What it is formulated to do:Enhances the color process either in the salon and at home. The ColorLock Press uses high heat (450� F) and pressure from the dimpled plates to: unravel the cortex, break down the color pigment so it can penetrate deeper and be distributed more evenly, and squeeze the color pigment deep into the hair shaft. The Zeolite and tourmaline-infused plates of the ColorLock Press use negative ions to close the cuticle and seal in the color pigment molecules, trapping them inside. The formulation of the ColorLock Pressing Spray (not shown) fills in any gaps between the cuticle for a smoother, more polished and reflective finish so color looks more luminous and vibrant.
